Client reviews
Matt has helped us buy and sell properties for years and is very personable and great to work with. We are so glad to work with him and he goes above and beyond. He’s knowledgeable about the area and well connected, prompt and responsive to any and all questions we had and advice we needed. It’s been a pleasure to work with him and we couldn’t recommend anyone more!
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Matt during our first condo-buying experience. As first-time buyers, we really appreciated having someone we could trust throughout the entire process. Matt was very straightforward and always made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. We knew he had our best interests in mind and could count on him to give us his honest opinion about potential buys. Matt is also very personable and we enjoyed meeting up with him each tour! We are so grateful for his guidance and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
Matt Roberts is my realtor and represented me in my primary home purchase as well as an investment property. I quickly went through half a dozen realtors before finding him. Matt got to know my circumstances, asked good questions, and ultimately understood what I needed and didn't waste our time. In fact, he performed beyond my expectations: I was an out of town buyer and Matt conducted and videotaped tours for me. His recommendations to buy or pass were always aligned with my needs. I was very happy with his guidance through the purchase process as well -- he stayed with me to the end. I plan to invest in more real estate and looking no further than Matt to represent me.
i've been in and out of the market for a couple of years now, and matt has been a great resource the whole way through — newburyport, greater boston, national trends, all of it. but beyond the knowledge, and unlike most of my past experiences with realtors, he actually takes the time to understand my situation (rare) he's also just fun to work with -- great communicator, always has "a minute" to chat, patient, flexible, etc.. have never felt pressured to pull the trigger on anything less than perfect

Questions
From accepted offer to closing usually runs 30 to 60 days. The biggest variables are your mortgage approval and the inspection. I walk you through every date that matters.
Yes. Since August 2024, a written agreement is required before an agent tours homes with you. It sets out what I do for you and how I am paid, the fee is negotiable, and we go through it line by line first.
